A lipoma is a benign tumor made of adipose, or fat, cells. They typically grow slowly and are soft and mobile. They grow in the layer of fat cells below the skin. Lipomas are not typically painful and do not involve the overlying skin.
Treatment For Lipomas
Treatment is mainly surgical for lipomas. Typically an incision is made and the lipoma is removed.
Endoscopic Removal of Forehead Lipomas
I have been performing endoscopic removal of forehead lipomas with great success. This new technique utilizes well-established endoscopic techniques in a way that avoid any scars on the face. Instead, incisions are hidden behind the hairline. For more information on this procedure or to schedule your complimentary consultation please fill out the form below or call (817) 529-3232.
