Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA) is the newest FDA approved neuromodulator approved for improvement in glabellar lines in adults (wrinkles between the eyebrows).
What is the difference between Jeuveau and Botox? It is actually the most similar neuromodulator to Botox in its size and shape properties. Therefore we expect this product to be a direct competitor to Botox. There are a few studies that may suggest a slightly longer effect of action compared to Botox, which is also great news for patients.
Who makes Jeuveau? It is made by a company called Evolus, from California. This is their first product to hit the injectable market, but studies on the product are showing a nice safety profile and comparable results to their competitors.
Who is a candidate for Jeuveau? Whether you are looking to try a new type of neuromodulator or if this is your first time to try a wrinkle relaxer, Jeuveau may be an excellent option to help soften lines in the forehead and around the eyes.
