Volume correction of the temples, midface, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline.
Minimal to None. Some swelling and bruising can be present after the injections and last for a few days.
How It Works
Sculptra is composed of Poly-L-Lactic Acid which stimulates your body’s own collagen production. After injecting Sculptra underneath the skin, the deeper layers of the skin begin working to build new collagen through a process called neo-collagenesis. This gradual improvement occurs over 3-6 months and lasts 18-24 months.
What to Expect
Sculptra is injected through a series of treatments (usually 3-5) that occur 6 weeks apart. This gradual improvement in collagen is usually apparent after 3-5 months. After your first round of treatments, yearly enhancement injections are used and are typically 1 round of sculptra per year for maintenence.

Is my face going to look too full or round?
Short answer: No. I am replacing lost volume that has occurred.
Long answer: The face has lost about 25% of bone volume by age 60. That causes increased size of the orbits, decreased projection of the midface, and shortening of the mandible.
