Sculptra

Used For

Correction of volume loss of the temples, midface, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline.

Down Time

Minimal to None. Some swelling and bruising can be present after the injections and last for a few days.

How It Works

Sculptra is composed of Poly-L-Lactic Acid which stimulates your body’s own collagen production. After injecting Sculptra underneath the skin, the deeper layers of the skin begin working to build new collagen through a process called neo-collagenesis. This gradual improvement occurs over 3-6 months and lasts 18-24 months.

What to Expect

Sculptra is injected through a series of treatments (usually 3-5) that occur 6 weeks apart. This gradual improvement in collagen is usually apparent after 3-5 months. After your first round of treatments, yearly enhancement injections are used and are typically 1 round of sculptra per year for maintenence.
