Earlobe Repair

Enlarged Earlobes

Earlobes can be enlarged genetically or may lengthen over time as a result of age, gravity, and volume loss. Reductions in earlobe size and length can be performed alone or in combination with other procedures such as a facelift.

Pull-Through Deformities From Earrings

Earrings can stretch and pull the earlobes over time. Repair stretched or “pull through” earlobes and get back to wearing earrings again.

Gauge Earring Repair

There is a solution for gauge earlobes to restore normal appearance to your ears and even get back to wearing regular earrings again. The best part is that it is a quick office procedure!

Used For

Correction of age-related earlobe lengthening and volume loss as well as acquired deformities of the earlobe

How It Works

Wrinkling and lengthening of the earlobe occurs naturally over time. Stress from wearing heavy earrings or gauge earrings and scarring from previous surgeries may also contribute to the problem. Depending on the cause of the problem, a procedure can remove excess skin from the lobule for a more youthful appearing ear. Resurfacing of the earlobe with a laser resurfacing procedure or adding volume with injectable fillers may also help with some deep creases that may be present.
